ServSafe® Food Safety Manager FULL Certification
This is a comprehensive one day course from 8:00am-4:30pm. The price includes the course, textbook and material for the course and the exam. You will learn about the flow of food, proper hygiene practices, HACCP, allergens and more.

Rhode Island Food Safety Manager In-Class RE-Certification Examination
This examination will be held from 2:00pm-4:30pm on the day of class. This exam is recognized by the RI Department of Health to renew your license every 5 years after your initial license has been obtained.

Online ServSafe® Essentials Food Safety Manager FULL Certification
The RI Department of Health recognizes the Online ServSafe® Essentials Food Safety Manager FULL Certification. The course can be purchased via the www.servsafe.com website. You have 90 days to complete the course once you purchase it. Once the online course is completed, you will be prompted to call a Proctor. Rhode Island Food Safety Manager In-Office RE-Certification Examination
The RI Department of Health recognizes the ServSafe® Essentials Food Safety Manager Exam for Recertification in the State of Rhode Island.
For RE-Certification ONLY- you do not need any hours of training. A proctored exam (with a passing score of 70% or higher) will suffice to re-certify in the state of Rhode Island along with a RI Department of Health application for a license renewal every five years.

ALLERGEN TRAINING
Rhode Island LAW requires that food establishments [establishments that cook, prepare, or serve food intended for immediate consumption either on or off the premises] must:
- have on staff an ANSI/CFP Certified Food Protection Manager and/or a manager who has been issued a Rhode Island Certificate of Allergen Awareness training train all staff to be knowledgeable in food allergen awareness as it relates to their assigned duties
- prominently display in the staff area a food allergy awareness poster that has been approved by the Rhode Island Health Department director
- include on all menus a notice to customers about the customer's obligation to inform the server about any food allergies
